[For Sale] 1997 Defender 90 300TDi Genuine County Station Wa

I am selling our 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 300TDi Genuine County Station Wagon. It has covered 125000 miles but this will rise as the vehicle is in use.
This was the best one I found when I was looking for one. It is in the classic Coniston green with a white roof. It is fitted with Land Rover boost alloys. It has a Mantec spare wheel carrier, alloy front steering guard, Kenlowe fan and I have just replaced the Wipac lights on the front as the old light shells had rotted through. The previous owners have maintained the vehicle very well and there is a book detailing the servicing and repairs they have carried out on it. I have continued to complete this book with any work I have completed on the vehicle. The main tasks in my ownership have been changing the cambelt and head gasket. The head has been skimmed with 0.1mm removed.

The vehicle chassis was waxoyled at 54000 miles.

The original owners handbook is still with the vehicle and also a lot of receipts for the work carried out on it. Both lots of keys are present.

I have the heritage certificate for the vehicle.

Chassis and bulkhead are both very good. The previous owner replaced the door hinges.

The paintwork is good but has dulled in some places. The Defender stripes could do with being replaced. I have also touched the paintwork up in some areas as the paint had lifted/flaked off in places. Doors are good but the bottom of the nearside door is showing signs of corrosion on the bottom edge, but this is no worse than when I bought the vehicle. Just giving an honest description.

Being a CSW it has the full length roof trim, fitted with a sunroof and seven seats. I have just fitted a new battery.

Overall a nice and well looked after example of a Defender 90 County Station Wagon with the desirable 300 TDi engine before they started to put all the electrics on them.

Lovely original csw, nice to see them kept standard and in great condition, reminded me of my first Defender similar colour and trim spec

No surprise it sold so quickly, hopefully the new lucky owner will keep it as it is.
