Christmas Charity Auction of a pair of Nolden Generation 2 LED Headlamps with DRL.
This is almost becoming a tradition- a Christmas charity auction by 4x4 Overlander Most people have their own favourite charity/ies and there are many deserving charities out there. Our first year we had an auction in aid of Dravet research as a forum member's son was suffering from Dravet syndrome. Second year we had a charity auction in aid of Multiple Sclerosis as a Def 2 member has been diagnosed with MS. This year we are having a charity auction in favour of Alzheimers UK. Dementia is an illness which effects many people and several forum users are likely to have experienced dementia in their families and Barbara's mother died as a result of Dementia with Lewy bodies. Alzheimers UK both supports people suffering from the various forms of dementia and their families and also funds research. Normal retail price in the UK for a pair of Nolden Generation 2 LRD Headlamps with DRLis £740 plus delivery in the UK This charity auction is for a a pair of Nolden Generation 2 LRD Headlamps with DRL with free delivery in mainland UK. We stock RHD/LHT Noldens in the UK. If the lucky winner is a non RHD/LHT user, I am sure our European colleagues will supply. This forum is mainly UK based however we are an international forum so for our oversea friends if you wish to bid feel free but we may have to charge for carriage overseas. If you want a quote for carriage just email us. Get further info on the LED headlights HERE Auction rules? Initial starting bid to be a minimum of £50 Other bids to be in multiple of £5. Bids of £x + 99p etc not accepted. Any such bid will be rounded up to the nearest £5 Only Defender registered members can bid Auction to start on Sunday 3rd December 2017 Final bid to be 23.59 on Sunday 17th December 2017 If the auction winner is a UK taxpayer we would prefer the Dementia society being paid directly via gift aid. Reason being the Dementia society can reclaim the tax on it. For information on Gift Aid read this. Basically the charity can claim 25% back from the government without costing the donor a penny extra To aid "housekeeping" 4x4overlander will edit this post with all bids so it is easier for people to see the auction results on the first post. Please spread the news of this auction to your friends/colleagues etc. Any questions ask away. We have the lights in stock so if winner pays promptly they could have it for Christmas BIDS to date 1) JJ £200 2) Grafty99 £250 3) Lightningtweeds £280 4) Benb8man £300 5) MJN110 £350 6) Trakito1 £400 7) SteveG £405 Wink SteveG £425 you just outbidded yourself Steve! One week left to go on this auction.
Current highest bid is SteveG at £405 These lights retail at over £700 so who is going to up the bidding? Please remember that 100% of the auction bid will go towards the Dementia society. Dementia not only affects the patient but the whole family and those close to the patient. Seeing a patient who suffers from dementia become a entirely different person is extremely upsetting in the extreme for the close family. If you already have LED headlights and/or this auction is out of your price bracket please consider contributing to the justgiving page HERE Brendan |

Brendan, good evening. You did say that if forum members of continental Europe would participate and eventually win the auction, Nakatanenga would send the correct set of Nolden Gen2 lights to the auction winner. So a set for drivers on the right side of the road. Is this confirmed?
And I guess the winner can choose if he wants a set of clear, smoked, or black lights in case they would come from Nakatanenga? And in this case shipping by Nakatanenga also included like in the UK? Can you confirm? Thanks, Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
