Not sold up! Done just over 10k miles in 3 years. My warranty runs out tomorrow and it also goes for an MOT!!
The windscreen has been out twice for paint bubbling on the surround and will do again as it has come back....The wheels all rusted so we’re replaced and painted properly courtesy of JLR / CRC. All good fun. I still want to get aircon retro fitted... Click image to enlarge |

Mine has done 28000kms & had a few warranty jobs done at the last service, including a new clutch, (rattling), new rear axles which seems to have cured a lot of the backlash in the transmission, and replacement water hose to the pump, it was cut by chafing on the turbo hose clamp, also extended the warranty for a further 3 years. Sadly can't drive it at the moment as I broke my ankle in 2 places & the fibula just below the knee - a hiking fall on a 1003km end to end walk in West Australia. Only got 200 kms into it & now grounded for 3 months, & possibly another two or so. Thank goodness I did the Ashcroft auto conversion for the old TD5 110, but getting in and out is a bit of a hassle with the moon boot! 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up.

MoT due on "our" heritage on Monday.
I wonder if the new owner has used it like he said he would or stashed it as an investment. I'm not sad we sold it.
