BUzzing noise
Hi,

I have a 2011 2.4 defender 110

As I accelerate through 2500 RPM there is a brief buzzing noise which sounds like it is coming from the gerabox or gear leaver.

Doesn't occur if vehicle is stationary

Any ideas what this could be?

Doesn't affect performance in any way

Would agree with Ian, gear stick rattle, if you hold the gearstick and move it slightly the buzzing should stop which will confirm if its the stick.

Thanks guys,

Took the vehicle out yesterday to see if holding the gear lever would stop it.

In typical Land Rover fashion it decided not to do it yesterday!!
