Patriot Rack for 110 with all fixings and rails.
The rack legs are different from normal patriot legs as this was a prototype made by Patriot to incorporate a particular roof tent. I shortend the legs and added spacers so it sat at the same height as a normal Patriot should, if you find a picture of the normal patriot legs you will see what I mean, but works as it should in anycase. The paint quality is good, and apart from one showing at billing by the company which manufactured the roof tent i am the first owner. There are 6 holes in the rack rails which allowed me to fit my hannibal roof tent, apart from that it is in top condition. £700 Essex,

3 months ago half a dozen people wanted one, out of interest has anyone been interested and put off by the alterations I Have made to make to the legs? Just thought I would have had some interest at this price  |

I don't think its a great time at the moment for racks.
A similar one to yours was on ebay for about a week with a BIN price of £650, a few months ago that would have fetched well over £1000 and would have gone is seconds at that price. Tack put it on the bay with a reserve of £750.... its well wort it mate don't sell it for silly money

JST thanks for the offer, No real rush, but keen to move it on as I brought the 90 Hannibal rack off TFM 2 weeks ago, which I may or may not keep now as a 90 patriot came up for sale 2 days after so I nabbed that... Wanted a lighter rack just for the roof tent as off the the Pyrenees in 3 weeks
So 3 racks, now I am partial to a nice rack but the wife says 1 or 2 must go

I know of one in almost new condition in black for £450 and it has been for sale since December... 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Correct, well actually it is just the standard 1.6m rack as I brought its last week of the bloke in colchester
So £450 for 1.6m, so thats £281.25/metre, so x 2.8m, mine should be up for £787.50. The 90 rack I brought from this guy has been knocked around and the paint is of poor quality, nothing like the quality of the one I am selling. Yes you could powder coat it, but its not apples for apples, so I still offer mine for a reduced rate of £38.50 at £750 |
