Any more info than "a fault"? That's a bit vague!

Probably a snapped wire in the rubber boot between the door and post

Won't go up or down....I've put a separate supply on motor which worked, swapped fuse and swapped switches over with each other.
So I suspect either a break in the loom or could there be another connection somewhere that may have come adrift? |

Almost certainly a break in the wires leading to the door as mentioned above. It's a common fault. Darren

Drivers window stopped today .
Forget using the solder iron as the solder won’t take to the cheep LR wiring of the loom . Managed to make the incision in the exact right place and guess what I found ? Notice the blue also on the way out so both repaired with extended length of new wire. ![]() Click image to enlarge |

It must be the cold weather as my central locking stopped working on my drivers door last night but worked again this morning

Cold weather
![]() It’s positively balmy up here and I got eaten by midges whilst changing out the wires . ![]() Keith |

Cold weather stops mine, I'm sure it's snow shy as its broken down twice the week the snow started

I'm glad it was an excellent summer when mine went pear shaped, had to drive all the way home from Scotland with the window fully down
