I managed to kill two sets from ClimAir. I tried everything (I had 4 to practice on) but no matter what, the thin lips that go into the window slots always broke. I used the "spreader" clips (even bought some extra) and when I did manage to get one looking okay, the electric window motor couldn't push the window up. Gave up in the end. I thought it would be a doddle like it was on the Audi but I guess not all Defender windows are the same shape. I can live without them and at least they aren't reducing visibility... Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Here is the better option.... When weather is dry, roll the window(s) some or fully down. When it rains, use the ventilation fan... No problems with breaking anything and a perfect fit You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I had some and sure they're fiddly, but they fit fine, plus with being a short ass, they don't obscure much. I find I use them a lot. |

Fitted the ClimAir ones recently and found them really easy to fit but it does require a bit more force to close the window when it's almost fully up. Agree with Odin though, the curved surface gives a distorted view so you need to be careful at junctions etc.
Maybe they'll prove useful for demisting in the winter but if not I'll probably remove them. Cheers, |
