Each wheel has a speed sensor (to tell if the wheel is spinning or locked).
Have a look behind the front left wheel, it sounds like the cable to the speed sensor is damaged, you may be able to repair the cable, if not it may need a new wheel sensor. |

I also have the ABS & TC lights come on, but no fault codes (via Scan Gauge). 2007 Puma 110.
I noted excess wear on the inside pad of FL caliper, so pushed pistons back and inserted new pads. When testing brakes, as applied, immediate brake chatter and dash lights came on. Chatter stopped when lights came on. No blown fuses. Are there any relays I should check? And which one(s) if any? Is it likely the sensor failed at the same time as brakes applied? How do I test it? As there was signs of rusting on outside of pistons, I have since had both fronts overhauled with new pistons & seals. Still need to reactivate ABS & TC. |
