Oooh! Nice!
I spent yesterday tinkering with the cherrypicker. Rebuilt and painted bulkhead on now, plus a few other smaller bits. Sadly the engine I had lined up for it looks to only be any good for parts. Thankfully it was a freebie, but where on earth do I find another six cylinder petrol? sorry cant help you on the 6 pot but will keep an eye out for one 
Dont see to many Scimitar's about, has it still got the V6 essex in it still 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Yes sure looks like I need to drum up a six from somewhere.

A few updates on mine.
Cherrypicker was put together for the Gaydon show, and from there went into storage up North to await its turn. Click image to enlarge SEB has had a new set of tyres and a service and little jobs such as brake cylinders replaced. Now in storage until an agricultural show at the end of this year. Hoping to get it repainted for its 50th birthday next April but not feeling too optimistic. Click image to enlarge My 88" has had some small jobs done, plus a bunch of parts sent up. I'm spending a weekend on it soon, not sure how far we will get, depends on whether or not the bulkhead is done by then.
