BUILD DATE STAMP ON CHASSIS
Guys, ive got a defender 110 and i am trying to find out the build date of it - so far i have found some digits in front of the outrigger, just before where the chassis number is stamped, its stamped "HD93", now the 93 bit is self explanatory , but i dont understand what the HD refers to - does any one know - maybe month or week of build date?

my 06 plate chassis is stamp (MY 06 )

i think its something to do with WEEK/MONTH - but not sure how to figure it out

wiring harness labels are another good place to look, along with the backs of most plastic mouldings, various electrical items have the date stamped into them. Usually in the format of week number/year.

look at a few items and find the newest one or the most coomon one and you'll have a pretty good idea whick week your car was built.
