Mines a sort of hybrid, I bought a complete setup from a breaker, so all the different brackets, vent handles etc. However the bottom wasn’t as tidy as my current so it’s the original bottom modified to take the rest. Means I still have three switches on the right of the steering column.
Fitted by Audiofile Incar at Bishops Stortford. Not cheap, loads of labour but really good quality job and phone call updates each day. Very much recommend them. I didn’t want to but a Puma dash in as I just don’t like them. Late TD5 is my favourite, keeps the vents (and makes them operate better), makes the dash tray useable (no more lost stuff at the bottom) and space for extra switches etc. |

Yes, you are right to a degree. However, this is its original colour, wings and arches so more than happy with the finish.

Yup! The one in it is a bit tired, I’ve got a nice lightly worked over (heads, standard cam at moment though) 3.9 to go in.

Nice work! ![]() I think i'm going to get a front heated screen for mine as the current one is chipped and the seal is starting to go, have you had chance to test it yet? 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW 1956 Series 1 Hard-top 1958 Series 1 Soft-top |
