TD5 losing fuel pump
I have an intermittent issue. Basically everything runs fine, then I lose the fuel pump and the engine cuts out. I thought it was the yellow main relay beside the under seat fuse box. I changed this for a new one and drove 60 miles yesterday with no issue. This morning it happened again one mile from home. I removed the seat base and cover and gave everything a tap and off we went again. Thoughts? Could it be one of the blue headers beside the ecu?

Have you tried closing the contacts that the relay slots into ? They are known to open and you then end up with intermittent problems.
