This is one of my personal Land Rovers and not a business sale.
I believe this to be absolutely unique - find another like it! She’s a Stage 1 109” station wagon, supplied to its original owner by Julian’s of Reading. Still has their sticker on rear window! I am only the second owner She’s has a galvanised Richards Chassis (£££), fully overhauled running gear but all her original patina. The original 3.5 V8 was tired, so we built up a 3.9 and dressed it as per original. Range Rover gears in the transfer box mean she cruises happily on the motorway and has plenty of low down torque for around town. Interior is all original, beautifully aged and just right. She has a period centre cubby box that has a couple of USB power points (easily removed). Externally shes not been painted but Has at some point had a rear quarter panel and more recently I had a front wing built (at vast expense - it’s not a series 3 or a Defender wing. Paintowrk by a Classic Bodyshop, I’ll be impressed if you can tell which wing is the replacement!) Absolutely lovely vehicle and I’m not certain I want to let her go but she doesn’t have seat belts in the middle and I don’t want to put them in. Currently having brakes tweaked, available in a week or so. Offers in the region of £22000 Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

That does look very nice. I've always had a soft spot for the Stage 1 - the best leaf sprung vehicle that Land Rover ever made.
I notice that yours has the 'deluxe' rear grab handles, which are great Has it ever had the 'Land Rover V8' stickers on the rear sides? Mine had been resprayed (and I had it done again) so I had to get some made as they were NLA. The market for them has always seemed to vary wildly, though. Partly, I think, due to their relative rarity and partly because a lot of people have no idea what they are and why they exist. I'm sure that many of us would be fascinated to know what you sell it for Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Fantastic Stage 1, a collectors item to be sure. You may well regret selling it but GLWTS.
