The bulkhead is replaced with a new bar that is part of the cage - also has a bar under the chassis to further strengthen the structure
I did not install the rear supports - I think they were to give a fixing for rear seat belts but I have no rear seats

Thank you.
That is interesting. I have seen SD cages before where the bottom bar of the cage is fitted as well as the standard bulkhead replacement bar (ie factory fitted on Puma SW). This always seemed a waste of space. Your cage does away with the standard bar which makes more sense.

I'm still a bit unsure about the rear stays and how they fit with factory Puma folding rear seats.

unsure who made my cage as I got it second hand from matt spencer of carriage autos who broke a few 110 TDCI's that were fprmer site vehicles. looks good on mine though Smile £850 all in including fitting.

I got that cage on my 110 2010 and it comes with an internal hoop, right behind your seats. The bulkhead comments are only for 90's and I even got the LR OE cargo barrier fitted. You can do it by yourself but count 2 to 4 days unless you want to rushed. I also added Dynamat at the same time as the interior has to come out. m

Hi 100inch,
I am looking at an internal style cage. In Victoria (Australia) where we are located, internal roll over protection including a single hoop needs to be certified by a Vic Roads signatory otherwise it's not legal. Were you able to get the internal cage certified? I am looking at the L255 Safety Devices cage but doubt I could get it signed off in Victoria as the seat belt mounts are changed and the base plates seem to below the minimum size specification required. I rarely carry rear seat passengers. It might well be able to be signed off but it is a big expense to import one only to find out it might not be legal.

I have modifications such as a Safari snorkel which means I can't and don't want to fit an external cage. I know with the external cages we can call it a roof rack (very strong roof rack) and hence not require certification

Any advice appreciated.

Regards
