Britpart alternator.
Last Friday, urgently needed an alternator to fix over the weekend. When the guy at the shop brought it out, it was in a box with 'Britpart' printed on it. A little voice in my head said 'NO!', but I needed it quick so took a chance.

True to form, it did not fit - one of the problems was that the top- and bottom holes for the two fixing bolts were not in alignment, and the alu. casing did not look as good quality/finish as the OEM part was.
So had to go to Landrover to get a proper one, and it fitted perfectly.

Sometimes buying quick and cheap is more expensive in the long run.

Yes always a gamble which doesn’t normally pay off Laughing
The original alternator is Denso if you don’t want to pay LR prices.
Glad you got it sorted in the end. Defender Td5 Commercial 2002
