Welcome to the forum matey!
Got any photos of the Landy? If you use the search function at the top you should be able to find something.. Although I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon to give you some pointers of removing the body |

Assuming it is a 5 door, you may well need to brace the body with some timber when lifting to avoid any flex.
Plus if the chassis is rusty, might as well have a good poke around on the bulkhead whilst you have easy access. Just in case! |

Done a chassis swap over about 18months ago, fairly easy once you know where all the bolts are and they come undone !
I hired builders 'trestle' tables, some heavy gauge scaffold pole, this was placed through rear wheel arch after jacking the back up and then lowering onto the pole. For the front, I then used a ratchet straps to lift the bulkhead up from its mounting points on chassis - the pictures in the gallery will show how it looks ! Just remember to lift high enough to allow chassis to roll out.... |
