Looked for one of these last year too. Mine is german as well.
Only options seemed to be ebay uk and they were asking silly money. Mine is still german as a result...... |

I take it they are no longer available from Land Rover?
I bought a new Defender TD5 service book last year as mine was full, but that may be common to all Land Rover models of the time. Inside every page is stamped diagonally "continuation" l imagine to stop people from inventing service histories. |

I remember that with older Volvos of which I used to have many when I was younger, there were problems with mechanical odometers failing due to a stripped main gear. All genuine replacement speedo heads had red or yellow numbers/digits instead of white on the odometer rolls to indicate that it was a not the original mileage. Likely to prevent people passing off the vehicle with much lower mileage than actual when it came to reselling the car. Only OEM Defender TD5 manuals I can find around here for a reasonable price are in Dutch which doesn't help me any more than the German........ Patrick |

Hi, Do you mean the one wich comes with the vehicle when its new? The leatherlook bounded? I bought mine last year as I found out that the one who came with my 90 TD5 was the 300tdi version. So I ordered a new genuine one from Duckwurth's. Its also included a service book.Not cheap though but its worth it
