td5 aux belt pulley wheel collapsed
bought a td5 double cab couple of days ago and the drive belt pulley wheel on the top right hand side as your facing the engine has collapsed totaly and belt is just hanging on,, dont know how!!!
does anyone know the correct part number for this as ive read there are 2 different ones on the belt train,, ive found what i think is the right part but no mention if it is for right side of belt train or the left side? any help would be greatly appreciated as i cant even start it up for fear it will totaly snap belt,,
sound was horrific driving home, sounded like a bag of marbles in the engine!! was devastated.

I changed mine it's a 5 min job. I will have a look and see if I still have the original in the box for part numbers as I was thinking about just rebuilding it as a spare with a bearing.

I know the belts are different if you have a.c., dunno about the rollers 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car)
2009 - current .... 2005 zx10r

Hi Horus. Horrendous noise eh?! Give us a few more details please. Year and whether you have aircon. The below image will help. Ignore the two versions of the belt setup "with ACE" that was only on Discoveries. If you can edit the image and highlight which pulley has collapsed and I am sure one of us with a parts catalogue or RAVE can point you in the right direction.
