I am afraid that is quite a different style to the td5 ones. You need to have a search for VDO vision gauges which will match 99%. Main difference is they have an orange needle whereas the OEM ones have white.

Thanks Steve
Had seen the Vision ones & was considering replacing all the 52mm gauges with these but for the orange needle. Could do with seeing a cluster fitted with them before spending all that money, which was why I thought the Paddocks gauge would match better. Only the nightime illumination putting me off at the moment, hence this thread. Suppose I could paint the TD5 Speedo needle orange if it comes apart Cheers Warwick |

Or give these guys a call and describe what exactly you need. http://www.caigauge.com/ They made guages for BL, and Rover group and are the original Smiths Industries Gauge business, and will make them to order if you describe what you need. I've an idea they actually make the VDO gauges anyway. |

So will the part the original posted stated work with a Puma? Is it green back lit?

Hello
Contacted Britpart at the time, this was their reply to me so I didn't order one : <Graham> 14 Mar Dear Sir, With reference to your recent enquiry. We have run a power test on the unit. It has a white illumination. The needle finger is white so assume it will glow white. Regards Graham Hope this helps Warwick |

Any Volt meter will work with a Puma, though you would need some form or mounting for it, such as the one that comes as part of the Double din kits.
You can change the colour of the illumination by painting the bulb with green nail varnish (or similar) |

I used a blue sea multimeter on my puma
It dims, measures voltage and current (with a shunt) And can set up an alarm To mount it, I just cut a hole in the dash using some drill bits and a flat file It's a defender anyway. Even if you don't a bad job, it still won't look too out of place |
