Here's a few links I found a while back. A friend did the wiring in mine based on the links then later I fitted a disco 2 switch mounted to the steering column as the +/set controls to tidy it up a touch. IIRC, the cheap install only works on the later NNN-type ECU, not the early TD5 versions. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic2974-15.html https://www.aulro.com/afvb/technical-chatt...rol-2.html https://forums.lr4x4.com/topic/80004-td5-cruise-control/ It worked great until I fitted a recon gearbox with a V8 5th gear ratio. Then ECU started reading incorrect revs and knocking the CC off so a speedo correction box was fitted to alter the signals going to the ECU. You would also require this if you have a 1.2 transfer box fitted. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop 1989 300Tdi 90 Soft top 1992 200Tdi 90 Truck cab with Land Cruiser axles |

Clutch pedal spring modification, definitely do this, so much nicer to drive.
Throttle pedal modification, does make the pedal lighter and well worth trying out. Very easy to return to standard if you prefer the heavier pedal action. |

Yah, did the clutch thing when I bought it years ago. One of the best mods ever to do to a Defender. Will pull the trottle pedal and have a go at it soon.
Cheers. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris) 2003 Range Rover Mk III (Desmond FitzWilliam) 2000 Defender 110 CSW TD5 (CTX) 1992 Range Rover Classic (Lizzy) 1972 Series III 300 Tdi (Stanwood) 1967 MGB GT Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats. You don't need to remove the pedal, you can easily drill the hole with it in place.
