[Wanted] 1.2 Transfer box with CDL

Hi Everyone,

I am after a 1.2 transfer box (with Difflock) for my 2002 TD5 defender.
I'm based in Camberley and willing to travel around 75 miles to collect.

If anyone has one they would like to sell please let me know.

There were several Disco 2 t-boxes with the difflock on eBay last time I looked (about a week ago). A Disco 2 box should fit if you swap the rear output housing from your old box onto the new one (the Disco has no speedometer output). Swappig the rear output housing is straightforward and needs no special setting up.

If you do go for a Disco 2, obviously make sure you get one with the CDL. It is possible to fit the CDL mechanism from your old box onto the new non-CDL box, but to do it properly you need to set the preload on the diff bearings once you've changed the front output housing, which is a bit of a hassle and you might be better off just rebuilding the original.
