My little 300TDi
Hey Guys new to the forum here but not that new to owning a Defender, in fact this is my 2nd.

I picked it up pretty standard and in the year or so I have owned it have changed quite a lot of it.

I built the cage myself but bought the bent hops from a company and did the rest in my unit.

last month purchased a faster winch to replace my Winchmax. Have nothing bad to say about that winchmax but just time for an upgrade so bought an 8274, got back and stripped it right down for a full rebuild.

Currently in the process of redoing the interior for a trip to wales next month with some friends so doing some maintaince on it before we go away.
I've done the cambelt, tensioners, water pump, gaskets, crank seals, sump seal etc

Now the engine is all back together Im working on the interior of the truck with a Mud dash and a switch panel. Also adding Silent coat matting to reduce any unwanted noises as much as possible. so far it seems to be doing a great job!

Thanks Dieselhead. Im pretty happy with how the cage came out. I was stealing measurements from another truck and that helped massinely.
Yeah I know everyone cant have a unit so I do feel lucky to have, and be so close to my mates that all drive LR's.

They are from a chap called Ian Dixon.
Personally, I wouldnt buy from anyone else!

https://www.dixonfabrication.co.uk/

I bought a bumper and rock sliders from him for my first truck.
Same again on this 90.

A few of my friends are running various bits of kit he sells.
and myself and 2 friends has just placed an order for 3 bumpers and some lift blocks from him.

I love the fact its all UK made, Im all up for supporting the under dog rather than buying from a big company.
