Puma dash conversion into td5 defender
Does anyone know if the discovery td5 speedo binacle (clocks) can be used and work with defender td5 ecu

They are not far from me and I waited while they developed it , but it looks very plastic and basic plus £750 for a basic dash , I have just bought a complete mint bulkhead off a 20y11 for £720

The fascia will fit the bulkhead, and as you can see from that link the instruments aren't impossible to work around.

The biggest issue is the gearstick on an earlier car emerges from the floor further forward than on a Puma, so it comes up under the dash. So far i've not seen one that didn't look like a bodge around the bottom, hacked about so the gearstick cleared it. You'll also lose the ability to use the fresh air vents below the windscreen.

Before i bought my Puma i did consider getting a cheaper TD5 and fitting the later dash, but when i saw the dogs dinner it would look like i didn't bother and just bought a Puma instead.
