Replacing tyres - cost effectively!?!
OK - so when I first got my Landy I rushed into replacing the wheels before fully exploring all the options. As result I'm not happy with the current set.

Also, I'm not sure how, but I managed to stick on a set of 235/70 R16s rather than 235/85 R16s which means the speedo reads high and I find quite irksome... (I think the last set of wheels were off a Disco 1 and I copied the sidewall ratio instead of researching properly)

Anyway - is there a cost effective way of selling off 5 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tyres, 1 new, 4 with 10k's worth of wear and getting me new ones?

Sell on the steel rims, sell just the tyres, keep them as spare and just bite the bullet?

Thanks

Stig

I'd try your luck selling them here and numerous FB pages, you never know someone might want them. Like you say it is an unusual size nowadays, but was the original size for a 90?? You can also offer with or without wheels and see who 'bites'. Cooper AT3's are a good tyre, I'm sure someone will want them. Good luck. James

235/70 is the stock size for the original Discovery and Range Rover. Darren
