Firstly, thanks for organising, looking at the end dates, that is the weekend of the LRO show Peterborough, I was wondering if there was any chance of an early deal for those going to the show, and save the carriage, that is assuming a) Alive are at the show and b) they have that kind of stock, which is probably unrealistic?
Thanks Alastair |

PRICES
Hi Simon Please find the attached price list for the rrp and discount prices for the comfort springs only, comfort plus shocks only and full comfort plus shocks plus arb package. Ive had a chat with Ben (manager) and Callum to get the best prices possible for you guys, but we do require a few things to warrant the discount before we will send out any products. 1 A minimum confirmed order list of no less than 15 kits comprising of any packages 2 A £30.00 non-refundable deposit upon request for any package, and full payment once the set limit is reached 3 And finally for anyone who wants anything for the show payment in full by the 8th of sept to dedicate the products they want to be set aside ( as they take up a lot of space on the van and we can justify taking excess stock ) Please contact Alive direct quoting Def2 bulk buy Prices are as attached, if this works Click image to enlarge |

TBH, and I've researched extensively, Alice's standard prices are the cheapeast you can find. And that's not including the Sky-high prices suggested by Bowler, Twisted, JE etc. Their prices are the cheapest, dampers or kits, for supply only from the standard online Defender specialists such as Urban, LRI etc. Worth also remembering that many automotive suppliers such as Demon Tweaks don't even touch Defenders. Additionally, quality springs are hard to come by and these are Eibach and developed for road biased Defenders, so you have the heritage as well. It may not seem the biggest drop off their on-line price, but it'll probably beat any comparative Defender spec B6 available, and as for the springs you won't get Def springs as good as Eibach either. My money's on the Alive package, and for what it's worth it's cheaper than the discounted price they offered me earlier this summer, so definitely a deal. So I contacted Alive to say I wanted to order and they said they need 15 people ordering springs to make the deal viable, so how many on this thread are going to commit, or have already committed to Alive as I would like to get mine ordered so I can pick them up at Peterborough?

Hello
Sorry if this is obvious, but would these springs and dampers make the ride more comfortable or more sporty (with a 1" drop) I'm confused and would not want a harder ride.. Looking at the prices for a 15 group buy it does not seem they are offering much of a saving to be fair but credit on you for trying to organise it. If you were going for it anyway them it's a deal. |
