I don't know if it makes any difference as to whether it is on recirculatory or fresh air, may be the recirc switch is midway? Defender 90XS SW

Yes, but we have a few new Land Rovers anyway so the courtesy car wasnt a big deal (infact it was a bad one!) Mike

I was thinking more the blowers in my defender are very weak. The ones in the disco sport a lot better. Could it be psychological you've got used to the new blowers?

Thanks, you might be right (probably are)...it's what my wife thought...I'm just not convinced especially as you'll know dealers have a unique skill to screw something no where near where they were working?! Mike
