Where would I find the chassis plate. I have waxoiled the chassis every year since, I have owned it. All the information I have is already on the thread. It's a good bit of kit, I just can't pull her anymore. Everything works just needs a bit of tlc

When you say needs a bit of talc and some welding......how much welding and where?

It's on the front behind the hitch on the tube, be a 5 minute job to weld or can be repaired with a patch. Not quite sure how it attaches to the rear crossmember directly, do you have any pics? Also is it towable and safe in its current state? I mainly need it for log transferal for the woodburner lol, although I do have an RV3 tent which seems to fit quite well on top I see

There are 4 bolt holes on the crossmemeber in the center at the top under the door it just bolts directly into the bolt holes. The tent is a RV5, so an RV 3 will fit with no issues, it's totally safe and good to go on or off road. Paul Monty-2015 2.2 110 XS Puma Station Wagon

Ah I see what you are saying now from looking at google pics, but I don't have a nato hitch, I have a standard ball hitch if they have a name? are these NATO hitches easy to get hold of and is the height right if it just bolted to the crossmember, I see some pics of them being at an uncomfortable angle on google?

It works well in that location, runs straight. NATO hitch, I have two. One for a drop-plate set-up (Dixon-bates), the other to bolt direct to the crossmember, with bolts. £40 if you would like one.
