Well not a complete shock as was thinking of selling our old d3 and project 90 when it's done and using money towards another cheap tdci defender 110 lol saw a 110 ht on 13 plate for 12k and convert to usw xs 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

110 is back after a replacing blown transfer box
fitted the Lazer RS8's and allisport intercooler plus pipes. painted the cage just need to wire winch, put rope on, fit hybrid turbo and get it remapped  plus paint the roof to match the rest of truck!

Haven't done anything to it since last up date but it has done 167,000 miles now!
also it fell into the ditch last week but at least it got out on its own!  avoiding a oncoming car on a country lane so I now have a crumpled passenger wing and missing indicator plus a wheel arch thats hanging off, ill take a pic of it tomorrow
Im waiting on Jose from TD5 Inside to get back to me with when he's visiting the UK as he'll be supplying one of his remaps to match my hybrid turbo. its due its 6000 mile oil change so it'll go in next week for that and a weep on the transfer box to be fixed plus maybe ill get them to change the cracked screen for a new one so I can finally use the heated screen which hasn't worked in my ownership!

heres the pics of the first four rock sliders fitted with grip tape to the tree sliders for easy enter/exit
looks much better and were a lot easier to fit than my old ones. only took me 2 hours to get old set off and new set on all by myself

bankz good to hear of a happy customer! can't wait to get mine done as Ive already got intercooler decat, 3" air intake with no restrictions, silicone pipes and it goes bloody well for standard now lol.
Although my EML keeps coming on due to MAF sensor going out of range with the extra air flow so I think I need a uprated one, does anyone know where to get one from?  2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

Did the air box/ intake modifications today, removed the crappy LR restrictive loosely fitted air intake and installed 3" tubing all the way to the wing
Also removed the restrictive water separator.
Not quite finished as still need to remove the restrictive tube inside the air box itself that’s next weeks job. Got a custom snorkel being made out of stainless so ignore the Heath Robinson snorkel, that’s only temporary until it arrives so the tubing will be cut down to in the wing for the new snorkel to plug into ! Also added Defender2.net stickers

Drove in white out blizzard conditions on the A470 Head of the valleys road last night was so fun I did three laps of it before eventually carrying on my journey home! at least a good 5" on the dual carriageway and quite a few boy racers from the welsh valleys thinking they are Colin Mcrae and running out of talent into the banks etc hahaha

Finally got the hybrid turbo on and a remap from Jose at Performance/td5 inside.
pulls very well 1-5th but seems to be the same as normal in 6th and runs out of puff at 85mph so I suspect limiter is still on so will have to get him to make some adjustments to the map and remove limiter as I do a lot of motorway miles. To be fair on Jose I wasn't home only my wife as I was at work so couldn't test it before he left for his flight back to Portugal so he didn't know, very happy with the extra oomph though surprised a few people tonight lol. been a long time coming but happy its all on now

what a completely different car with the remap, gutted I haven't done it 80,000 miles ago!
