Upol is a great brand.
Much depends on if you've got a standard finish chassis or it's already been treated with a wax of sorts. If it has I'd forget it, as once it's waxed you cannot really paint unless it's a massive cleaning job. Even then I wouldn't do it. This is why when I done mine I stonechip sprayed my arches etc then Dinitrolled. ![]() β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ Last edited by custom90 on 25th Aug 2017 7:39pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Waxoil it, raptor isn't designed to be applied without the surface being prepared and spraying it on a complete defender will also make a big mess as it goes everywhere (I know from using it) 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW

It will be prepped before application and I won't be doing it so i couldn't care less if it's messy... I won't be cleaning up for once!
More interested in the longevity of the product and its suitability for undersealing. Last thing I want to do is create a problem for myself 10+ years on if water can get trapped behind it etc. |

The Raptor is more of an abrasion protection paint.
Dinitrolled or Waxoyl are actual underseals with water repelling properties. Dinitrolled is far more advanced. This is what I'm using. WeWillWinπ¬π§πΊπΈ β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

Yeah I'd agree with Steve except I don't know if Dinitol is superior, I went with waxoil when I did my own chassis as I know how to use it 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW

I'd highly recommend speaking to Craig at Buzzweld, really knows his painting/coatings and sells Raptor and other underseals. Worth taking advice if nothing else. Also obviously speak with Zagato!! James

I would not Raptor where you say unless its been cleaned to bare metal then primed ! It will fail unless all contaminates are removed ,
After all its a plastic so will cover for a whiles then blister off if not applied properly |
