[For Sale] BAS RRC 2

Now sold

I have for sale this amazing little tool from BAS remaps curtesy of the wonderfully supportive Pete Bell.
I bought this to enable me to remap my 2.4 Puma and to enable me to undertake a whole host of other things whereby the ECU etc can be read and reset see: https://secure.bellautoservices.co.uk/stor...ly-add-on/
for a comprehensive description of its many uses.
This is locked to my Defender's VIN but I believe for a reasonable fee BAS can enable it to used on your Defender, as well as enable it to be used to remap your own vehicle, for the appropriate fee, of course.
This has only been used the once as I no longer have the Defender Big Cry I would like it to go to a good home rather than sell it through an auction site. Retail from BAS are £300 but to give a forum member a good deal I offer this for sale at £145 and allow BAS to spread their wares to its new owner.

Also for sale at a very reasonable £55 are these Mantec internal screens which will fit Puma models 90 and 110.
These are in very good condition and are an eye watering £225 new.

I bought an RRC off a fellow Def2 member and can confirm for a small fee Pete will re-enable it to work on a new vehicle.

The window guards... do they clamp on or do you need to drill? James

A 6mm hole has to be drilled through the trim unfortunately but, when the guards were removed the holes were hardly discernible but nevertheless I plugged them with small fir-trees and it looked like they were there from new. I started with nothing and still have most of it left!

Please remember the maps are not transferable between vehicles as they are VIN coded so when going back to Pete to get a map for a new vehicle he will have to re-program the unit and apply a new map to it so the term "small fee" may be slightly misleading Whistle

Also, you need to check if you have a 2.2 as I am not sure if Pete can do a tune remotely yet - up until recently the ECU needed to be split but he has developed a way to tune the ECU without splitting it but only from his workshops or at a show. Basically I think he needs the 2.2 Defenders on site to tune them if not splitting the ECU Thumbs Up Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

"UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

Thank you for the reply, Ricky. I'm not sure I need them, they're just a very tempting price! James

I'm glad you posted this. I have a used/preloved unit and was worried that it was locked to the previous owners VIN. I have it as a fault code reader currently as I'm saving for the remap. 110 D250 SE HT
