Second turbocharger failure
My first turbocharger lasted 50k km. My second one, a genuine Garrett, only 35 k km. How long will be the life of my third turbocharger? 😁
I am visiting my repair shop tomorrow...i will keep you updated. There was almost no oil in the engine after the turbo failed. White smoke after each start.
I am wondering what is causing turbocharger failure? Again! Defender 110 SW MY2011 2.4tdci decat, no EGR
Jeep Wrangler YJ 1990 4.0. Front 78' Dana 60, Rear CUCV 14 bolt

I'm not an expert on turbochargers but I would check the oil circuit for the bit and perhaps find out what sort of pressure you should be getting. Puma 110" SW

Ok, the turbocharger is fine, the engine is dead. It has to be overhauled, new pistons, rings, bearings etc. Defender 110 SW MY2011 2.4tdci decat, no EGR
