I can second that recommendation. Excellent collection of vehicles and memorabilia. If you are into motorcycles, there are some belters - and I'm not just referring to the final drive!

I've been driving past it for many years and often wondered if it was worth a visit - it used to be at Keswick from memory, and I was told they just had Del Boy's car and the Batmobile... kind of put me off.

When I went to the one in Keswick (many years ago), the owner was a miserable so and so.
You weren't allowed to take pictures due to "copyright issues"  |

I went to the one I Keswick many many moons ago, but if memory serves it was called "The Cars the Star" and was basically props from well known TV shows and movies.
Lakes Motor Museum is a proper timeline of motoring. We'll worth a visit. Think they still offer a joint ticket with the cruise company on the lake if you want a longer day out 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

No disrespect meant to the Lakeland Motor Museum.

It looks other worldly now, a great pic. It must have had an extraordinary impact at the time, especially to young petrol heads. Not sure a teenager today can get that excited about the latest Tesla...
