I'm going to try to go but I have another committment so it may be tricky. Is there anyone going from near Preston who wouldn't mind picking up a replacement winch cable for me from Goodwinch? It's been ordered and they're taking it there for me, I may just struggle to get there though.

Yes we do. We will have to send you to fetch it for us all however It will be interesting to see how this show transforms from a one day show to a two day show. I hear conflicting ideas such as same number of visitors/money spent but spread over two days instead of one day. Another day lost in the shop! That the displays/demos will keep people off stands. To two days will give visitors a greater choice when they come. Me? I lean towards more visitors coming view but am prepare to wait and see. Brendan |

I always find the demos/displays at these things to be a bit to be honest. A lot of hanging about and a small amount of action. Saw one good one once at billing, great skills with winching but that's about it.

I agree you wont find me watching 95% of the displays at any shows. I once watched a modified D2 Bigfoot style trying to drive over cars in a 50m Ø display arena at Eastnor, it was cringe worthy and somewhat does not have the same appeal as the real US Bigfoot deal. 130's have feeling's as well you know

I must admit that the typical falconry/sheep dog/beauty pageants at the outdoor show leaves me cold.
The arena off road course at Manby is entertaining however. Brendan |

I am planning to go as I live in stafford, but I've never been before! Is it right that the Sunday will be the better day as it's leans more towards landrovers?

Am not sure what you mean by that statement. Would think most traders will be there both days. The information sessions are more general then marque specific. Have a look HERE The website for the show is HERE HTH Brendan |

I'll be there Saturday. Another engagement Sunday, so it's still a 'one day show' for me. Have to agree about arena entertainment and also with you, Brendan, the off-road action at Manby was more interesting.

It's pretty quiet so far.
I'm absolutely horrified to see that security guards have cable tied the emergency exits "on the organisers instructions". Not just once but three ties per door. Breathtaking stupidity |

I've exhibited at the Indoor 4x4 show for the last three years. Not bothering this year, as it was a complete waste of time and resource.
Bring on the LRO shows... They are worth going to!!! |
