South walesish trip, advice needed..
Deciding that I'm not getting wet enough atm in my landscaping career, pencilled in a trip with the good lady, 3 boys, 3 JRT the disco and the roof tent to South Wales to camp...
I can't abide a croc wearing queue with my toothbrush/towel,laid on entertainment style of campsite, so I wondered if any of you hardy camper types could recommend an away from it all type site.
I've thoroughly out-googled myself on this one, heads in a spin, I do remember staying in a fabulous remote and rock strewn site up near betws y coed in the lee of a mountain many moons ago, I would like to replicate that closer to home, or even that one if anyone knows that?

I've not camped there yet, but have been there many times, being a devotee of the Elan Valley area. I think it's my favourite place in the world. Absolutely stunning landscape. So many great walks nearby too, if you like to get out and about. Thumbs Up

That's great guys, I'll look into that!.. think I've been through there at some point..
Anyone have any other suggestions?
