I've looked at a few different options recently. I sold my 110 a few months back and what i want is a fun soft top with a v8. I've priced up doing the work to a £3k ebay defender, and I've looked at a couple of factory V8s. nothing was quite right. I then came across this car. I couldnt get the man maths to work sadly as its more than the firepower I have available currently, sadly.
I merely link it here as I think its actually pretty good value and if you priced up fitting a galvanised chassis and a soft top conversion to a yr2000 defender - and a nice paint job - I think it would come to more than this. 100k miles and Foley's did the work (including the safety devices style roll bar) prob not everyones taste - but I think its very nice indeed and a great combo of retro looks and modern running gear NO AFFILIATION simply that the car isnt advertised on ebay or autotrader and might be of interest to the Def2 community http://www.percivalmotorco.co.uk/2000_Defe...rettyPhoto Click image to enlarge [/img] |

If you are going retro then IMO it has to be a V8 [/i]

Definitely my 'next' project as I gave yet to finish the current one. 90 pre-puma soft top with LS3 Monsieur Le Grenadier
I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |
