Looks absolutely fantastic. thank you for sharing with us.
looking at the photo with the waterfalls it looks like there's a huge goldfish in there....certainly not what you find at the local fair. |

Thanks for the photos - looks superb. I was supposed to leave this morning but woke up to a slave cylinder that had exploded we are now sat at Folkstone in the wife's car instead. At least it didn't happen on the trip I suppose. Will now reschedule the trip for the 2018 and enjoy two weeks of camping in the sun instead.
I'm going to do a separate post to see if anyone can reccomend some light stuff suitable for a freelander 2 we could try. |

So we set off. Drive to Newhaven a lush 1.5hrs. Ferry left on time and the crossing was smooth
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge The initial 5hrs of the journey went to plan and then we hit traffic. Horrible stop start traffic 5hrs from destination. France had decided to travel to the sea! Click image to enlarge Pulled into a service station and popped the rear tent. We all had a 4 hr kip. Re joined said traffic and total drive time less sleep was 18hrs. Ouch. Click image to enlarge Treated ourselves to two days in one campsite before beginning the trek! 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

Sorry not been back. 3G scant in the mountains. Just finished and now working out way back up the French coast for the ferry on Friday. It was epic. Proper adventure around every corner. Will post more photos when back but here is a sample... Looks excellent. What temperatures did you have for your trip? Also what kind of altitude were you driving at most of the time. Thanks,
James |
