2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 ST Santorini Black
Alarm triggered
Alarm on my puma went off at 23:00 last night. Went out to check it and would seem it's a false alarm (I'll check cctv today). It wasn't windy and it's parked in its own little shelter away from prying eyes. Any ideas as to why this triggered? It's never done it before and battery is in a good state of charge.

I'm not sure if (all) Defenders have volumetric alarms but a partially open window can trigger the alarm so maybe as simple as that.

You are correct Daz. The whole windscreen was a web. Last used the Defender a week ago. Intruder found! Rolling with laughter

The wife's alarm went off at about 3 in the morning a couple of months after she got it for no reason what so ever, I ran outside half dressed and shouting, thinking someone was breaking in, but there was no one around or climbing over the seven foot gates, it wasn't wet or raining and there were no bugs or webs that I could find the next day. It's never happened since so I've no idea. Ray

I had this happen last summer on two consecutive nights, one at 01.30 and one at 03.00. Checked the obvious but found nothing and the alarm has been perfect ever since. Defender 90XS SW
