Hi Chaps,
Was just wondering if anyone knows how the LRO Peterborough show is set up? I see you can get access on Friday (+early Saturday) if you're camping but are any of the stalls open at that point? Also, what's the provision for getting access to the show area with your vehicle if you buy large items such as trailers/roofs that can't be carried away. Cheers, roliver |

I'm not sure about early entry but I've seen customer vehicles on stands having intercoolers fitted for example.
It's a nice show worth a visit James MY2012 110 2.2TDCi XS SW Orkney Grey - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic43410.html MY1990 110 200TDi SW beautifully faded Portofino Red - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post743641.html#743641 MY1984 90 V8 Slate Grey - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post744557.html#744557 Instagram @suffolk_rovers |

The Peterborough show is the best UK show.
If you know that you want a large/expensive/uncommon item it is better to tell your preferred trader prior to the show. If you want to collect something on Friday tell your preferred trader at least 2 weeks beforehand. Turn up unannounced on the Friday desperate to have a certain item it will either be at the back of the trailer, left back at base etc. Yes you can drive around during show hours but please show respect and consideration, drive slowly and park with consideration. Once had a knob drive onto our stand, park up and lock his vehicle and started to walk off our stand. When challenged I was the miserable sod as he was only parking on our stand so he could visit another stand two pitches away. He was not so politely told what to do! If you want to have a social chat with any of the 4x4overlander crew please come along during the evening and join us for a drink. During 'business hours' hopefully we will be too busy for social chats. Brendan |
