Just ordered one with the 10% discount code. At £5.40 it's worth a punt. No delivery charges as their local store is next door to Tesco so Mrs Discomog will collect it when she does the weekly shop. Defender 90XS SW

I bought this a year ago at £20 off Amazon
Great book though, proper gloss paper pages with loads of good, colour pictures. Very helpful! Matt. '89 90 CSW with a 3.5 V8 conversion (WIP) - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic46809.html |

how good is this book? I am toying with the idea of getting hold of the workshop manuals rather than the Haynes. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

This one isn't really comparable with a workshop manual as its' emphasis is on restoration. Haynes produce a separate manual which is a 'how to' for maintenance tasks and I think it's fair to say that both it and the official workshop manual have their uses. The latter is very detailed but assumes a certain level of knowledge whilst the Haynes is very definitely aimed at the home mechanic.
