Run the wire along to rack, and down the back of the ladder (which you dont have) and then into the car from underneath? A bit more wire required but if you decided on more lights in future and if you used 7 core trailer wire then you already have additional wires for additional lights without having to run more wire.

Thats my plan for when I get/make a rear ladder. It either that or I make up a metal tube, painted same colour as 110 and mount it via the windscreen brackets and off the gutter and use that for wire entry via the gap between bonnet and wing (no snorkel for me) 1999 Defender TD5 110
