A couple of unimogs turned up at our site today. A couple of German chaps heading back to Dover after spending 4 days in Ireland

They are amazing, don't see many non-working unimogs! James

Drove a Unimog for work a wee bit twenty odd years ago, used to love it. Un-rivalled driving position - apart from being on the wrong side! Dirty Deeds - Done Dirt Cheap

Quite a few Uni Mogs where I live, most seem to be used for crop spraying. If you think Defenders are expensive you should price up a Uni Mog. Defender 90XS SW

Nice looking trucks
This was mine a few years back, had planned to convert it and stick a demountable camper on the back but never got around to it, did get married in it though! Click image to enlarge Last edited by camelman on 10th Jul 2023 10:57pm. Edited 1 time in total |

that is one of the coolest vehicles money can buy! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

Got to love a UM. A few years ago a few of us were trying to recover a heavy vehicle off a boggy field, it was hopeless, then this chap came over in an old UM hitched it to the bogged vehicle and just hauled it out with no drama, was very impressive.

I quite often browse them on ebay and thought they were very reasonably priced compared to defenders! |

I agree, compared witht he prices that Defenders now fetch, the 'Mog is good value.
Be aware that they can be very expensive to run, and will probably take you into the world of 'Private HGV' taxation and licencing. |
