I know we have a wide cross section of people on here, I wonder if we have any solicitors or legal experts? I need to take my former partner to court or mediation or something to sort out some money she owes me, about £4500 approximately. I have contacted some local law firms but their hourly rate turned me pale. I'm not expecting freebies but can anyone perhaps just point me in the right direction? Obviously this is not an easy thing to deal with
Thanks in advance. Dan. 2011 110 USW 1973 Series III 1-Ton 1972 Series III 1-Ton Cherrypicker 1969 IIA 1-Ton 1966 IIA 88" |

Try your local uni/collage with a law course as the last year students (nearly fully qualified) usually do one evening a week of free consultation to help them finish their course. Ray

Have you spoken to the citizens advice? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Some good suggestions there. Yes been to CAB but it was bit beyond their area of expertise... 2011 110 USW

The only issue I can think of is that I do not know her current address....and she is of course keeping a very low profile... 2011 110 USW

Had a family member borrow money from us to help buy a house. They bought the house, subsequently put it up for sale and we never got our money back. Families...... 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
