Not a Defender in sight

Not a great shock but we've not seen one Defender yet in Bali. Plenty of rust free right hand drive FJ40s and VW Kubelwagens, but the only LR spotted so far is an Evoque. No taste some folk

I have no idea what you are on about Greeni, but I can confirm I'm not here with Anneka Rice / the Obamas / any other celeb! I've mostly been looking after these goons....

Great tour and I am glad you enjoyed it. Hope you had Putu as we found him an excellent guide.

For anyone else who gets to Bali we went to a little island called Nusa Lembongan which is a short boat right ride. Stayed at the Bali Hai Resort and it was an amazing little spot. Highly recommend that too as it is very laid back in comparison to Bali.

Yep Putu was our guide and we all really enjoyed his insight to traditional Balinese life. The contrast between Seminyak and an hour inland is stark.

It seems the smart money is moving to Lombok now that tourism has made a fair mess of a good chunk of Bali.
