Wheel Stud Question?
Quick question on wheel studs!

I'm buying a 2014 Defender pick-up with standard (non heavy-duty), steel wheels. Two questions:

1. If I'm changing to Land Rover heavy-duty steel wheels (WOLF), do I need to fit longer studs?

2. Similarly, if I change to alloy wheels, will I have to fit longer studs?

Cheers Thumbs Up 110 DCPU

1) No, although there are some folk who'll say yes (usually those who've spent a fortune on the extended studs).

2) No.

When the military switched over the older 90/110 fleet to wolf wheels the studs didn't get changed, all the vehicles got fitted with a plate stating wolf rims fitted check torque setting 170nm. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html
