Not 100% sure but I understand that there is a mounting for the reel in the back corner of the tub, think it's bolt on, then there's the upper shoulder mount not sure how that is fixed, bit there must be some bracketry (it's all under covers on the SW) and reinforcement. The release clip is on the seat, hence the need for reinforcement. 2010 Defender 110 Station Wagon, Santorini Black.

The short answer is yes it can be done - I have been looking into this and was in contact with Chris at CSK Landrovers.

They do a conversion kit - it was about £600 per side for the panels, seatbelts and seat brackets fitted. Plus cost of seat on top. 2002MY Defender 90 H/T

Currently have basic Exmoor trim forward facing fold seat, basic but good.

I am in eternal search for an off side Fold and Lock seat but seem very rare.

Thought about converting to Puma but was put off with lack of knowledge ontne safet support bars

Hi 2112. I've just tried the link and it works for me. Can you see the forum thread? Is it just that you can't download the PDF write up?

It looks like you've got to be signed in to view the PDF. Why not host a copy here in your gallery? Darren

One of the forum sponsors, CSK Land Rovers, even gets a mention!
