Hello, welcome to the forum.
I managed to get one through land rover customer relations, but it was a fairly drawn out process and they emphasised that it was a one off, saying it was the very last blank certificate that had, etc. Previously I had tried the dealer and got nowhere. I should add that Mrs Doublea is the first owner, a second owner may not be accommodated by JLR! Probably best to make a friendly approach the original owner, but you would be relying on their goodwill/sense of fairness to help you out. It's quite possible that they never received it! Current Steeds: 2015 110 UW in Grasmere Green 2003 BMW F650 the Hack 2000 Elise 1992 Ducati 888 (no longer in bits, yahoo) 1990 TDR 250 (in bits again) 1988 TDR 250 (no longer in bits) and for sale |

I nearly walked away from buying my Heritage (2nd hand) because the 'book' wasn't available with the vehicle. I was unaware there were certificates in addition to this. Because the V5 has 'Heritage TDCI' etc printed on it I guessed this was enough to convince a third owner that she's the genuine article.
