It allows you to very accurately count the distances marked between waypoints on a roadbook. i;e;If the instruction in the roadbook says 2.20km to a L/H turn, you know at 2.20km there should be a L/H turn. Marc |

Did you have any fuel issues on the route? Just wondering if this is a trip I need to carry a 20l can in case? 1951 80" S1 2.0

There are no problems at all getting fuel.
Vibraction's roadbooks also have details of fuel stations locations. Just once,I found myself running a bit low on deisel,& had to make a 30min detour to the nearest town for fuel. Marc |

Agree that we have never had issue getting fuel but I do tend to carry 20l in jerry can just in case 👍
I have never had to rely on it though. |

How do people find wild camping on these routes? Have anyone encountered issues with authorities etc. Looks a great way of travelling without the hassle of trying to organise camp sites and having to stick to a timeline. |

It's a good question as all the camp sites mentioned by previous posts are booked up in August (no surprises) 1951 80" S1 2.0
