So quick update and not really any further forward.

Car has been at Wildcat for about 4 weeks, but I need the car back for next week to go camping. Agreed with wildcat not to go past the point of no return in taking out the engine unless could guarantee the engine would be done before next weekend. Was a bit close to the mark so decided to collect car and then will drop back off on 30th.

Prep work all done and ready for the engine to go in and should be ready now second week June just as I go on holiday for two weeks 😥

Update further once dropped off again,

Oh how disappointing not to be ready. It does seem they have the Defender for 8 weeks but get it all done in the last week! But certainly wouldn't want to rush them, then take it straight on holiday, so you've made the right choice.

Sorry been away all week!!

Camping was good thanks and family all happy!! Dropped car back to Wildcat on Tuesday with a gearbox and other parts sat there waiting to go in. Olly will be on contact Monday with an update and hopefully photos. Car is planned to be collected Monday 12th as they did a lot of the work before to get car ready.

Will post update when I get it from Olly on Monday!

Quick update....

Car is almost done and will be ready Thursday, unfortunately I will be on a plane to New Zealand to go and watch Lions tour so won't get the car back until 28th June now.

Wildcat are hopefully sending ,e pictures over next few days so I will upload some and then take some more pictures when I get ten car back at end June.

Exciting few weeks for me coming up!

Some pictures coming through but bandwidth not great here in Waikato so cant up load them yet. Will be in Hamilton then Auckland in a few days so might have better internet access then?

Just over a week now until I get it...!!

Hotel I'm at in Waikato just had 10 mustangs drive in and loved the sound cant ait now!!!
