Looks like all the cage companies are doing bad jobs at the moment.
My SD cage slotted on a treat and the Powder coating is still fine after 6 months (no signs of cracking etc). Glyn |

I've just purchased a North Offroad cage for my challenge truck. Came in kit form, painted in primer. All notches are good. Comes with all the relevant nuts and bolts. At the same time I've got a set of their challenge wings. They even come with the bonnet pins needed.
Will be getting it glued together in about 3 weeks time. Will let you know how I get on 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

Not all of them. just had a Whitbread cage fitted to my 110 csw. Fit is really good. Designed to my drawings, no problems. Its fully welded, so you wont get rust dripping all over the bonnet. The welding means its more difficult to steal too. Paint is good and easy to touch up if required. |

Just finnished fitting roll cage.
I had to weld the chassis brakets ,as the holes to bolt it to don't exist! I had to use a lot of bolts and washers that were not supplied. I had to move the fuel filter as its in the way of the under chassis bar. The recommended position of holes is a fairy story. I think that the designers at Safety Devices need a kick up the arse because they haven't changed the design since the 300 tdi chassis. That only went out of production over 10 years ago. Hey ho finnished now if you fit one to a 2007 defender allow a week to fit and remanufacture bits to fit. If I had know they were now made in Poland I would have gone elsewhere. Hi Just had a quote from them ... much cheaper than a SD one ... What's your opinion about it ? Are you satisfied ? shiping, finishing, easy to fit ? placed a post the other day on another topic but got no answer ... I am extremely happy with my Whitbread roll cage. I would recommend them. The only criticism is that the paint job doesn’t survive a tough day greenlaning, hence the Hammerite Smooth. If I bought another one I’d go for galvanised. They made it to order and fitted it in a day.
