Well this is the first time i have had to do this up date, so we drove up to Thirsk on the Friday 16th and the traffic was not good to us, we allowed a day to travel up and no stress, that worked well On the Saturday we were greenlaning all day and finished about 7.30pm, had a cracking day and we were only half an hour away from Whitby, so we went there and had fish and chips and sat down eating them by the harbour we finally got back to the digs gone 11pm
The first pic is the route we took and added a couple more and one of them had not been driven for a long time, it was a lane home from home as it was over grown Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge The next pic is where we stopped for lunch, top place, perfect weather Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge The next pic is at the end of an awesome lane Click image to enlarge Then on our route we came across this................. Click image to enlarge Then as we parked up for a minute this came along and stopped for a chat and tagged on for one lane........ Click image to enlarge Then this place was on route, really lovely spot Click image to enlarge Then when we finally got back to the digs i had to park in the right place ......................... Click image to enlarge It was still there in the morning, so another pic Click image to enlarge On Sunday we drove up to the Tan Hill Inn and stayed up there for about 3 hours as there was a rally going on, it was called The Beamish Reliability Run where 130 entrants cars and motor cycles drove over a distance of 150 miles, great to see them all Click image to enlarge Then this turned up .............. Click image to enlarge That is the owner and i had a good chat with him and his friend and his wife is in the passenger seat and the RR next to him is his friend, who helped restore it, this was it's only 2nd outing........................ Click image to enlarge Then after we had finished here we drove down to Nottingham to stay over for the night and this is us ready on Monday morning to drive back down to Devon ..................... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge All of us had an awesome weekend and the weather was perfect 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

Ah so this is where you guys were heading when I saw you, wish I could have joined you on the Saturday as we were not too far from Whitby but had a pesky wedding to go to
Looks like a good weekend , apart from the traffic on the Friday!! We headed back down south on the Sunday, thankfully the traffic wasn't too bad then. |

Yes charcoal, its a stage 1 just lucky to be behind it but these lanes are quite flat and it just goes on tick over so not much to hear 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |
